If you’re looking for a place in Ohio that makes you feel like you’re not in Ohio, Ledges Trail and Overlook might just be the place.  Right near the little town of Peninsula Ohio and part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ledges Trail and Overlook is filled with sandstone cliffs, rock walkways, alcoves, passages, boulders, and rock formations.  The main entrance to Ledges trail is at 1010 Truxell Rd, Peninsula, Ohio.  The Trail around the outside of ledges is around 2 miles, if you are just looking to check out the overlook, park in the lot near the top and walk across the field, if you’re looking to hike the full loop around the outside, walk down the road past the shelter house, and follow the signs.
